Susan E. Reinhold, R.A.

As a Founding Principal, Susan is an integral part of the leadership and overall operation for REVIVE Architecture LLC.  On every project, she strives for collaboration between clients, craftsmen, and architects to achieve best practices with inspirational results. Her expertise in vintage masonry restoration has been instrumental in preservation of Chicago’s Landmarks with several projects receiving the Preservation Excellence Award.  Noteworthy historical preservation projects include the Shedd Aquarium, Kovler Lion House, and The Ludington Building. 

Susan graduated from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a Masters in Architecture and focus in structural engineering. Deeply committed to education of young architects, Susan has guest lectured at School of the Art Institute in Chicago, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and University of Illinois.

Eileen burke, R.A.

Eileen brings both architectural and construction management experience to the REVIVE team. Eileen’s career in architecture started in the restoration industry working on notable landmark buildings. After getting her architectural license, she wanted to expand her knowledge and worked as a project manager for several reputable Chicago-based construction companies. Eileen is a master multi-tasker and her organizational skills are unparalleled.

With a background in both architecture and construction management, Eileen brings a wealth of experience in the coordination of a project team to achieve excellence in both design and constructability. Eileen has over 10 years of project experience including exterior wall rehabilitation, roof replacement, interior build-out and ground-up construction.

Chris Enck

With a passion for historic buildings, Chris specializes in the restoration and rehabilitation of building envelopes and materials on a wide range of existing buildings. He strives to approach every project to develop economical solutions to successfully address deficiencies while maintaining the aesthetic character of the building. The investigation and problem solving aspect of historic buildings is what keeps Chris coming back for more.

Chris’s passion for preservation has helped him develop unique solutions to save endangered buildings. He has successfully relocated and restored multiple landmark homes which were targeted for demolition. Chris studied architecture and historic preservation at the University of Illinois and has over 15 years of experience.

DORIS FREGOSO

With 27 years of rich experience in finance, Doris brings a diverse background and a wealth of expertise to the table including experience in overseeing federal, state, and private grants. Working with a non-profit organization for over 8 years, she passionately supported and accelerated the work of charter schools as their Director of Operations and Grant Manager. Before transitioning to the education industry, Doris worked with an architectural and structural engineering firm for over 13 years.

Doris is proficient in numerous financial programs and has exceptional communication and organizational skills, making her a vital team member especially for public sector work. Her passion for finance, coupled with her friendly and collaborative approach, has been the driving force behind her success across multiple industries.
